Farmers Cooperative Association, Inc. of Frederick, Maryland announces new manager

The Board of Directors of Farmers Cooperative Association, Inc. (FCA) of Frederick, Maryland is pleased to announce the promotion of Richard A. O’Hara to the position of General Manager, effective February 1, 2013. He will be taking the reins from interim general manager, Chester E. Martin. O’Hara graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Agricultural Business Management. He has worked for various local agricultural companies prior to joining the FCA team in 2002. With FCA, he has worked in numerous capacities including Inside and Outside Sales, and most recently as Assistant General Manager.

FCA operates three divisions; Feed, Fertilizer and Petroleum – providing the area with high-quality products and services. The feed division is most widely known as manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of “Maryland Quality Feeds”.
